Pluristem Life Systems Completes $1.5 Million Private Placement Equity Investment |

January 21, 2004 – Pluristem Life Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: PLRS),
a biotechnology company dedicated to the expansion of stem cells
from umbilical cord blood to address a myriad of fatal
illnesses,
today announced that the Company consummated a private placement equity investment with a group of individual and institutional investors representing gross proceeds to the Company of $1.5 million.
The investors who participated in this equity transaction look forward to the great opportunities and potential arising from Pluristem's proprietary stem cell expansion technology.
